Long Time, No Write

It's not every day that a writer admits that she has a problem. I have many problems. Like I was working at a call center for about a year and now I'm unemployed. All the time I was working the 9 to 5 job, my creativity was drained. Now that I have more time on my hands to get back to my writing. I'm suffering from writer's block. Woe is to me!

 I'm still working on completing book 1 of the series I'm co writing with a dear friend. She has been patience with me, but I'm not sure for how much longer. I would get annoyed with me if I was her. I am working on trying to finish the book outline so I can start working on the chapters. I'm hitting roadblocks there. I have the beginning worked out and I have the ending worked out as well. It's the in between that's the issue. Oh! Why aren't the muses on my side? Hopefully, I would get through this block during the week. That's the plan.

 On a side note, I continue to write my fan fictions. My writer's block is worse with my fan fictions than anything else. I just ask that any dear readers have patience with me and wish me luck. I could use it.

 Some good news, I'm a proud aunt and I'm loving it! He is the most adorable baby in the world. Some more good news, I have read a lot of great books and have caught up on most books I have been meaning to read. So here to seeing the good amongst the bad! Cheers!

Unofficial Holiday for Geeks

As a geek, I just had to post something today. I'm a huge sci fi fan! I love Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, and many more. So I couldn't pass up the chance to write something.  While May the Fourth is not an official holiday, it is being celebrate around the world by geeks [and even non geeks]. It's exciting to turn on the TV and see all the Star Wars related shows, movies, etc. I spent part of the day watching Star Wars Rebels. I am very much getting into the mood for the new movie. Too bad it couldn't come out today. That would be so awesome.  Anyway... today embrace the force and let your geekiness out. Watch some Star Wars specials or the movies themselves. Just have fun! VT

Outlines Aren't My Forte

So I have learned something about myself. I suck at outlines! I have been trying to complete an outline for the series and I can't get it done. Outlines aren't my thing apparently... but my friend wants an outline so she can start on the next book in the series. I need to figure what my thing is and produce it for her. A thing that she would understand as well. This will be an adventure. At least in a new step in my writing process. Well I know this post is short, but I'm keeping my promise. Posted again sooner than a year. ^_^ I think I will work on the "outline" [finger crossed] and maybe an original work or fan fiction. I will let the Muses guide me. I plan to complete something soon.  Until I write again... VT

Happy Holidays

It has been ages since I posted. So here is a little update on my life and writing. Since I last posted, I have done very little writing. I spent most of days working to save up money for my Scotland trp. Then I went to Scotland for two weeks in September. Best decision of my life. It is a beautiful country with wonderful people. I had an amazing trip and plan to take another trip in the future. After Scotland, the different holidays came and I have more time with my family and less time on my writing. So I kinda went on a writing hiatus and didn't post anything on my blog. My bad! I will be working on my poor blogging skills. The New Year is just around the corner. I have made some big life changes. In the spring, I will be moving to a different state and start a course for a new career path. I'm excited this new direction. It doesn't mean I have quit being a writer or no longer have my desire to be published. I might be less focused though. Well I wish everyone a Ha...
